      My best friend

I used to be one of those people that could easily feel suffocated by people. That was until I met my beautiful partner Mitchell.

I was introduced to him through his younger brother who was my good friend at the time. We hit it off straight away and quickly became the best of friends as if we had known each other our whole lives since we both had so much in common (same year at school, same mutual friends etc...).

We had been good friends for about six months when I began to see him in a different light, a brighter one. My friends began to mention that we appeared much closer and thought that we should start dating. I shrugged off the remarks and thought nothing of them until Mitchell came over to my house one day and told me that he had liked me for a while but didn't want to tell me. My stomach did flip flops! I had felt the same for him for quite some time. We became much closer and on new years eve 2000 we spent the best day together ever and in that afternoon I asked him out. He said yes and we welcomed the new year in together and have been happily in love since then and I no longer feel suffocated by people and I still get a flutter in my tummy whenever I see my boyfriend who is also my best friend and my soul mate.
