      My Habibi

I met my husband at a night club. We were both with other people at the time in dead end relationships. Essentially our relationship was purely for sex. I told myself I wasn't going to fall for him. So we kept going like that. A seemingly transparent relationship? So I would visit him no less than once a week for sex. After we would sit for hours and try talking to each other. When I say try, I mean my husband didn't speak English that well. But somehow we kept going. I left my boyfriend eventually and he gave up all of his other women. And we miraculously began to fall in love with one another. Both of us being very spiritual people, he Muslim and myself Christian provided a very interesting dynamic in our relationship, we truly believed in ONE GOD and that it was him who had decided that we should be together.

We met in September of 2000 and were married on February 9, 2001. We have been married now for over 6 months and I couldn't have dreamed for a better husband--EVEN IN MY FANTASIES!

He is the most beautiful, kind caring honest human being that anybody would be lucky to even know in their lifetime. And for that matter I am truly the luckiest woman in the whole world to have found someone who loves me as passionately and profoundly as I love them.

Thank you God and thank you my dearest husband Hicham XOXO

(so for all you skeptics out there who think you can't meet someone decent at a club, take hope in my true story of love)
