He came into my life at a time when I was vulnerable. I had a day surgery go wrong and it was taking me a long time to recover. Just at the time when I was starting to do things again he popped into my life.
We started doing things together and enjoyed each other's company and then I faced more surgery and the loss of my beloved pet. Our relationship became more intense. And then he started acting strangely, to the point of being considered abusive. I won't go into the details but I believed he had a serious mental illness or was on drugs. I sent him an angry email breaking up with him after he crossed the line (boundary).
I felt bad for doing this and apologized for my words. Nothing more from him until many months later and then he apologized and said he was now on medication and we started to see each other again. From then on it seemed he had one illness after another until all of a sudden I didn't hear from him again. I then did an internet search and found out another woman was living at his address.
I believe that when he apologized to me that he had already started a relationship with her and was seeing us both and must have decided to stay with her and leave me.
It has hurt me greatly to know that he lied to me. He left me to believe he was seriously ill and let me worry myself sick about him when in reality he was just fine and living the good life. I believe it is a good thing for me to be out of this relationship. He does have mental problems and perhaps drug addictions, but even worse, he is a liar and a cheater.
If there was a happy ending for me, then this is it. The only thing that would make me happier is to find an honest and responsible man.
