Breaking my heart

Me and my supposed best friend have been together for over a year. in this year we have talked about dating and about our feelings for each other. but there's a problem, she has a boyfriend and doesn't want to let go. He doesn't care about her the way she cares about him.
I am completely in love with this girl and she knows it too. but the one thing is she breaks up with her boyfriend to be with me and then turns around and goes right back to him.
I don't know what to do about it. There is a lot more to it than this but i'm not in the mood to type.
