6 Years of Being Lost

I've known this guy, Cody for 6 years. 2 years after meeting him, I was his best friend, we did everything together, ate lunch together (I was in school) well after those 2 years a new girl, Alana came to our school. We became friends and she knew I loved Cody, and because of what she is she ended up like him, and I later found out Cody like her, but I never had any claim on him so, they started dating, they dated for about a year. About half way through that year I moved and had to go to a different school. And about 2 months before their relationship ended. I went to his birthday party. We hung out and talked like we did when we were best friends. After his party we didn't talk again. And it's been about 3 years. I rarely thought of him during those 3 years and focused my life on different things, and one day I was on myspace and for some random reason looked him up, being a goof. I found him and we started talking again. He told me he had a girlfriend, Jaime. But he flirts with me, and that makes me mad because he has a girlfriend. He asked if I forgot about him? I said kind of. He said he never forgot about me. And a friend that went to his school I was still very good friends with had gotten into an incident with me and had told him was me but he told me "yea she made u sound really mean but i always new u werent at least not to me" it almost made me cry. He says he loves his new girlfriend Jaime a lot and I have no clue whats going to happen. I want him to be happy even if it's not with me. I talk to him a lot and now he's my best friend again I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see what happens.
